At City of Hope International Church, child dedications are a joint expression of a parent’s desire to raise Godly children. When a parent dedicates their child, they are committing themselves to four things:

1. To accept the responsibility as the primary spiritual leader of their child’s life. 2. To teach their child God’s word and lead them to a faith in Christ. 3. To model the love and grace of our Heavenly Father to their children. 4. To raise their child in Christian principles.

Parents are committing to cultivating an environment for their child to put their belief in Christ when they are older. As a church we are committed to empower parents in that calling and help families raise God-honoring kids. We count it an honor to be entrusted with that incredible privilege.

We invite families with children ages 0 – 4 years to participate in the dedication. Our in-service child dedications scheduled for 2020 is as follows:

At the City of Hope International, we believe that baptism is an act of obedience symbolizing the believers’ faith in a crucified, buried, and risen savior. Water baptism is an ordinance of Scripture reserved for believers at a maturation appropriate to make such decision. For this reason, we do not perform infant/child baptisms. (Luke 3:16, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:6, Acts 2:38)

• Sunday, May 1 @ 12pm

• Saturday, August 27 @ 10am (beach baptism - location details on the Events page)
